Growing up I was never religious, my parents never brought me to church or anything. Therefore, I’ve developed my own beliefs that neglect religion. Now, I would never run around exclaiming, “God isn’t real, your beliefs are fraud!” I understand that people do have religious beliefs, and I respect that as long as they are not pushing it on me. So when this lady asked me what I would do if God asked me to pay for her groceries at the grocery store I work at, I was in shock. I eventually told her if God gave me the money, I would gladly pay for her food. After I was done checking her out, her friend asked er why she always did stuff like that. I found the whole situation humorous afterward, but it was still shocking to me.
